Quality, Safety, and Performance
To ensure that our custom steel windows are designed to perform even in that Dallas heat, we are dedicated to a persistent cycle of product development, testing, and certification. Third-party tested, our doors and windows are certified with ASTM, NFRC, AAMA, and soon the Florida Building Code to guarantee that our product lines are a quality investment for residential, commercial, and historical projects in Dallas or anywhere else. We aren’t satisfied with good enough, so it’s our goal to continue producing the best steel windows and doors for architects, new builders, and all others, and we hope to achieve that by pushing towards innovation that doesn’t sacrifice functionality or beautiful design along the way.
No Sweat Steel Windows and Doors
People often overlook the thermal concerns when they consider steel doors and windows for their building needs. With a steel frame and so much glass, it’s easy to lose or gain heat from the frame, so the Artisan Series tackles this head on by introducing a GRP (glass reinforced polyetherimide). This non-conducting material helps reinforce the strength and thermal performance, avoiding the thermal transfer between the glass and frame that you often find in insulated glass designs offered by other manufacturers. For more features that help our metal windows and doors stand the test of time, take a look through the specifications of each line we offer to see the Portella difference.
